Debrief Support Network provides mental health support and peer-led resources to military veterans struggling with PTSD and civilian transition.

Debrief Support Network (DSN) provides trauma-informed, peer-led support groups for rated disabled military veterans and their families who are facing PTSD, transition-related stress, and mental health challenges. We create safe, judgment-free environments where veterans and their loved ones can connect, decompress, and access pathways to healing guided by those who’ve lived it.
We envision a nationwide network of disabled veterans and family-led support systems that close the gap between trauma and recovery. Our vision is to build accessible, community based spaces where healing conversations are normalized, suicide rates are reduced, and families no longer suffer in silence.
Debrief Support Network isn’t just another program — it’s a movement of veterans and families helping each other rebuild trust, purpose, and hope.
Veteran-led groups designed to create understanding, connection, and growth through shared experience.
Growing participation from families seeking tools to better support their loved ones.
Collaborating with local veteran centers and mental-health organizations to expand reach.
DSN offers peer-led support groups, one-on-one guidance, and resource connections for veterans navigating life after service. It’s about bringing veterans together — building brotherhood, trust, and understanding through shared experience. DSN is a place where you can talk openly, get grounded, and find strength in those who’ve walked the same path.
Our doors are open to all veterans who are VA-rated for service-connected conditions — from every branch, rank, and era of service. Whether you’re newly separated, retired, or still transitioning, DSN is here for you. We also welcome family members who carry the weight of their loved one’s service and want a safe space to heal and connect.
All DSN services are completely free for veterans and their families. We believe financial barriers should never stand between someone and the help they deserve. Our programs are funded through community donations and grants to keep support accessible to everyone who needs it.
It’s laid back, nothing formal. No ranks, no uniforms — just vets talking with vets. You can come in, grab a seat, and take things at your own pace. Everyone’s been through something, and that’s what keeps it real.
Debrief Support Network (DSN) was founded by Kevin Zamora, a U.S. Navy veteran and former aircraft firefighter. After leaving the military, Kevin hit a breaking point while trying to get help through the system. Months went by with no response, and the lack of attention nearly cost him everything. That moment changed his life and became the driving force behind DSN. He created Debrief Support Network to make sure no veteran ever feels left behind.

No, DSN isn’t affiliated with the VA or any government agency — but we’re working towards it. Our goal is to build official partnerships that allow us to reach more veterans and expand our impact while still keeping our independence and flexibility.
